50 participants from around the world travel across the U.S. as part of the International Visitor Leadership Program hosted by the State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and Meridian International Center.

The group will examine the impact of volunteerism in the U.S. and learn how volunteers foster civic responsibility and a culture of service as well as explore the concept of social entrepreneurship during their 3 weeks in the United States. The group will also have opportunities to participate in community service activities. The participants will travel to 4 cities beginning in Washington, D.C. and ending in Chicago, Illinois.
